There Is No Magic Diet

I heard on the Today show this morning that after lots of study it has been determined that what matters in weight loss is eating fewer calories. Well, duh. But I guess some people needed to hear that. It seems that it doesn't matter whether you lose weight with the South Beach Diet or Jenny Craig or Low Carb, it is all about eating fewer calories than your body uses. After 6 months people had lost the same amount of weight no matter which diet they were on. The also maintained the loss at the same rate.

I agree that there is no special diet that is going to help you lose weight unless you cut your intact and increase the amount of calories you burn. But a supplement can help with both of those factors.
